Soybean phospholipids: Soy lecithin is a phospholipid that forms a film on the surface of the skin, protecting it and
preventing it from drying out. It helps restructure and repair the cell membranes of the epidermis,
thus allowing the skin to retain all of its original beauty.
Luffa Oil: Luffa (Luffa Cylindrica) belongs to the cucurbit family. This trailing and climbing vine produces a squash with black seeds. The oil is extracted from the luffa seeds by cold pressing. It is characterized by its composition of 72% short-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, among which 62% are essential fatty acids: 60% linoleic and 2% gamma linoleic. Its fatty acid content is close to that of the stratum corneum. This acid restores the normal lipidic state of lipid-deficient skins and rebuilds the fatty acid profile essential for the lipid barrier. Therefore, it has repairing and nourishing properties.
Pinus Pinaster Extract: Pinus Pinaster natural Extract, derived from the trunk of Landes pine trees, is characterized by its high lipid content. Its structure is biologically similar to that of cholesterol. Cholesterol is an essential component of the double lipid layer of stratum corneum cells. It interferes with the arrangement of phospholipids and ensures the fluidity of cell membranes. Pinus Pinaster Extract repairs the skin barrier and reduces water loss. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, helping repair skin disorders caused by external stress factors, particularly when the epidermis is damaged.
Carob Seed Extract: Carob seed extract, from the evergreen tree or shrub ceratonia siliqua, is recommended for use in skin care products intended to repair age-damaged skin. It triggers the natural recovery and reorganization of skin tissue. It also regulates the synthesis of growth factors involved in the skin repair system, activates synthesis of characteristic myofibroblast markers and restores cellular migration potential. Epidermal and dermal reconstruction are therefore accelerated. Thus the extract increases the damaged skin’s ability to repair itself and accelerates recovery of skin tissue that has been under attack, re-establishing the key functions of the epidermis, particularly its barrier function.
Yeast Extract: Yeast is made up of mineral salts, carbohydrates, lipids and vitamins, giving it many beneficial properties. For example, it is very rich in vitamin B, which enables it to help preserve the skin’s integrity. It has a re-balancing effect (for oily or dry skin or scalp) and promotes the healing of certain skin conditions like acne and hyperseborrhea. In addition, this active ingredient stimulates phagocytosis and the formation of lysosomes in the keratinocytes, thereby providing a detoxifying action at cell level which improves the radiance and transparency of the complexion. Moreover, its significant antioxidant effect protects skin from free radicals.
