Extract of young shoots of Watercress and pure Genistein derived from soybeans: This extract regulates the formation of melanin and lipofuscin: it reduces their accumulation in the skin by inhibiting the activity of α-MSH and activating the proteasome. As a result, it locally reduces the pigmentation of dark spots by focusing more on age spots than on the normally pigmented surrounding skin. This evens out the skin’s pigmentation. This extract also prevents photo-induced aging.
Plum pulp extract: Plum pulp extract is known for its lightening properties, curbing melanogenesis by inhibiting the phagocytosis of melanin by keratinocytes, thus preventing them from darkening. It also helps to improve the skin’s barrier function (thus reducing transepidermal water loss and increasing hydration) and improves its appearance.
Wasabi extract: Wasabi, rich in isothiocyanate, is a powerful antioxidant and has an antimicrobial effect. It protects DNA by trapping free radicals and increases the activity of other antioxidants.
Anti-ROS and anti-RNS Antioxidant: This active ingredient is a Vitamin E derivative and plays a dual role in protecting the skin from reactive species. On the one hand, it can trap reactive species (oxygen and nitrogen free radicals), thus preserving skin cells. On the other hand, it inhibits lipid peroxidation. This means it has antioxidant and detoxifying properties. The skin is stronger and rejuvenated. Used over time, it combats signs of skin aging, by helping to improve the skin’s elasticity, reduce the depth of wrinkles and diminish pigmentation marks.
