Shea butter: Shea butter is extracted from the fruits of the shea tree, which grows in the savannas of West Africa. Rich in unsaponifiable fatty acids and vitamins, it has remarkable lipid-replenishing properties. It intensely nourishes hair, making it more supple, strong and shiny. It also coats hair and protects it from everyday damage. It is particularly recommended for curly, frizzy or kinky hair, which is more prone to drying.
Avocado oil: Avocado oil is extracted from the fruit of the avocado tree and offers repairing and moisturizing properties. It is so rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids that it is also a powerful lipid-replenishing ingredient that intensely nourishes.
Plant-based squalane: Plant-based squalane comes in a thin, clear oil. This lipid is naturally produced by the human body and is one of the main components of sebum and the hydrolipidic film. It prevents dehydration while restoring suppleness and flexibility. It is light and silky to the touch, and being non-greasy it is a prized active ingredient in cosmetics.
Complex of protective vegetable wax: This complex consists of vegetable jojoba and sunflower wax. Inspired by the hair’s natural lipids (sebum and 18-MEA), it recreates the lipid layer that protects the hair, without weighing it down or leaving an oily residue, thus enhancing the hair’s hydrophobicity and acting as a lubricant to reduce friction between hair fibers. Hair quality is improved; the hair is softer and easily manageable: frizz and volume are under control, curls are well-defined and the effect of static electricity is inhibited. It is easier to style and protected against harsh external factors such as pollution.
Hydrolyzed plant keratin: This active ingredient is a combination of 3 hydrolyzed plant proteins derived from wheat, soybean and corn which together provide a “vegan” alternative to keratin, as they contribute various amino acids (7 in total) vital to the health and repair of hair. They increase the tryptophan content and limit its degradation by forming a protective film on the hair and ends. The hair’s protein integrity is preserved; it is immediately repaired and its hydrophobic nature is reinforced. More nourished and hydrated, the hair looks revitalized.
