Emulsion Gel Biosensible restores and soothes fragile epidermises. With its unique texture, it provides skin with incomparable hydration and nutrition. Enriched with soothing active ingredients, it acts on the main pathways of skin inflammation by reducing redness. Its moisturizing and lipid-restoring action platforms work together to add water to the epidermis and to retain a sufficient quantity to maintain the optimal water level for skin tissue. Defective hydrolipidic film is restored and skin barrier is strengthened to help the skin better protect itself against everyday stimuli. Kudzu Extract: This extract is derived from the roots of kudzu, a perennial vine native to the Far East. Kudzu extract contributes to limiting the action of phospholipase 2, an enzyme involved in inflammatory reactions. Acting at the heart of cutaneous inflammation mechanisms, it contributes to significantly reducing certain skin conditions such as xerosis and rosacea, as well as improving skin elasticity. It is also renowned for its softening, anti-irritating and soothing properties.
Blackcurrant Seed Oil: Blackcurrant seed oil is very rich in omega 3 and 6, which helps restore the integrity of the skin barrier. As the barrier is strengthened, this visibly relieves the skin, soothes itching, reduces transepidermal water loss and protects the skin from external stress factors. It is known to have soothing properties in the case of atopic dermatitis.
Himalayan Mushrooms Extract: This extract contains two mushrooms that have been used since Ancient Times due to their high concentrations of polysaccharides, terpenoids and phenolic compounds to help soothe overreactive skin. It acts by specifically reducing expression of the COX-2 gene, which controls the synthesis of inflammatory mediators. It therefore helps to reduce the redness and desquamation caused by UV exposure and skin reactivity to irritating cosmetic products.
Hyaluronic acid (lowmolecular weight): Hyaluronic acid plays an essential role in supporting the skin’s structure and texture. It works as a veritable “molecular sponge,” absorbing up to one thousand times its own weight in water. With a low molecular weight (10 kDa), it improves the extracellular matrix to preserve optimal hydration in the epidermis. It also fights wrinkles by activating collagen synthesis to reduce the size and depth of wrinkles and fine lines. In addition, it stimulates neosynthesis of hyaluronic acid, promoting desquamation and reducing the size of pores to soften skin texture. This truly makes the skin’s surface smoother.
Pomegranate extract: Pomegranate extract has outstanding anti-aging properties. Its antioxidant properties help combat the cells’ oxidative stress and therefore premature cutaneous aging.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant: it protects the lipids of the cell membranes from the damage caused by the formation of free radicals.
