Biopolymer from Marine Microorganisms: This biopolymer is produced by fermenting a bacterium from marine microorganisms. It acts by reducing levels of the Melanocortin 5 receptor, a protein involved in differentiating sebocytes and therefore sebaceous secretion. It therefore reduces sebum build-up to improve the appearance of combination and oily skin. It also induces synthesis of type I collagen, helping minimize pores. The skin is regulated, healthier and visibly mattified.
Himalayan Mushrooms Extract: This extract contains two mushrooms that have been used since Ancient Times due to their high concentrations of polysaccharides, terpenoids and phenolic compounds to help soothe overreactive skin. It acts by specifically reducing expression of the COX-2 gene, which controls the synthesis of inflammatory mediators. It therefore helps to reduce the redness and desquamation caused by UV exposure and skin reactivity to irritating cosmetic products.
Damask Rose Extract: Damask Rose is a flower from Southwest Asia and one of the oldest known rose varieties. Its high monoterpene alcohol content (citronellol, nerol and geraniol) gives it many useful properties. It helps tighten tissues to reduce wrinkles and fight against skin aging. In addition, it has astringent properties to reduce excess sebum and even out the complexion. Finally, it has a calming effect to relieve irritated skin.
α-Crystallin Peptide: This unique peptide triggers production of α-cristallin, a chaperone protein that preserves cell proteostasis and ensures skin transparency. By regulating epigenetic and inflammatory phenomena, it helps harmonize the skin maturation process. Skin surface quality is visibly improved and the complexion regains its evenness and radiance.
Vitamin B3: Vitamin B3 (or PP) is a water-soluble vitamin belonging to the vitamin B group. It is instrumental in triggering numerous chemical reactions.
