Glycoproteins from Antarctic Microorganisms: This glycoprotein is formed by microorganisms capable of surviving the extreme conditions of the cold, dark depths of Antarctic glaciers. Its cryoprotective properties protect skin from drying. It also stimulates collagen and elastin production to restructure the epidermis. This helps maintain the skin’s integrity, even in extreme conditions. The skin is protected, regenerated and restructured. It is smoother and firmer.
Firming Tetrapeptide: A tetrapeptide is a peptide made of four amino acids connected by peptide bonds. This tetrapeptide increases skin firmness by stimulating production of extracellular matrix proteins such as collagen, elastin, fibronectin and laminin. Black Crowberries juice: Black crowberry is a shrub native to Lapland whose berries are rich in polyphenols, molecules with significant antioxidant properties. Black crowberry juice slows down the skin’s aging process by limiting the activity of elastase and collagenase, the enzymes that cause elastin and collagen to deteriorate. In this way, this ingredient improves skin tone and firmness. It also acts on microcirculation and prevents stretch mark formation.
Rye Extract: Obtained from rye seed, this extract helps firm and smooth the cutaneous tissue, tighten the skin and increase its tone. Baobab Pulp Extract: The gel derived from baobab pulp is rich in alpha hydroxy acids and sugars. AHAs reduce the thickness of the horny layer, reducing uneven areas on the skin. Sugars, which form part of the Natural Moisturizing Factor(NMF), help maintain water in the stratum corneum. As a result, this extract helps restore the skin’s natural water flow.
Marine exopolysaccharide from Iroise Sea: This active ingredient is secreted by a planktonic microorganism found in the Iroise Sea. It stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis to improve skin’s firmness and elasticity. It also has a tightening effect on the network of collagen fibers for an immediate, long-lasting lifting effect (starting after 15 minutes).
