Tsubaki Oil: This oil is obtained by cold pressing Tsubaki flower seeds. This shrub, native to Asia, also known as Camellia Japonica, is characterized by its persistent foliage and dark pink to red flowers. Extremely rich in omega 9, a major component of hair lipids and sebum, it has nourishing, antioxidant, protective and strengthening properties. It helps preserve the skin’s barrier function, repair hair ends and improve hair shine. This silky, very light oil is suitable for all skin types, and is ideal for dry, sensitive, irritated or mature skin, as well as dry, dull or brittle hair.
Sacha Inchi Oil: This oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of sacha inchi, a plant native to the Peruvian Amazon. Its concentration in polyunsaturated fatty acids (notably omega 3, 6 and 9) allows it to restructure and protect the skin while limiting its dehydration. Commonly used for sensitive, dehydrated and dry skin, it leaves the skin smooth and non-greasy.
Jojoba Extract: This extract is obtained from the liquid wax found in jojoba seeds, a shrub adapted to arid climates. Its remarkable efficacy is due to the fatty alcohols (C20-24) obtained by wax hydrolysis. This composition ensures very good penetration, conducive to epidermal regeneration without leaving a greasy film on the skin.
Sandalwood Oil: This oil is obtained by cold pressing the nuts of Sandalwood, a tree native to the semi-arid regions of southern and western Australia. It is characterized by its high concentration in a very rare fatty acid: ximenynic acid, used in particular in the therapeutic treatment of eczema. This fatty acid gives it revitalizing properties and allows it to nourish the skin, maintain its suppleness and prevent its dehydration.A source of vitamin E, it also has antioxidant, smoothing and unifying properties. It softens and smooths the skin while reducing irregularities in the complexion. It is also used in hair treatments to promote scalp microcirculation and protect hair against damage caused by the formation of free radicals.
Samphire oil extract: This oil extract is derived from samphire, a seaside plant that grows in sand. Practically underwater at high tide, it is exposed to the wind and sun at low tide. To adapt to these daily variations, it has developed water and ammonium ion carriers which play a key role in protection against dehydration and sharp variations in salt content. These protective agents stimulate the expression of aquaporin 3 and 8 (membrane channels that transport water throughout the human body) in the epidermis to act on all aspects of skin dryness. By also acting on NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factors) and TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss), the skin is more moisturized. It is strengthened and better protected against harsh external factors.
Macadamia Nut Oil: This oil is obtained by cold pressing macadamia nuts. Very rich in fatty acids, notably palmitoleic acid, it has moisturizing, nourishing and softening properties. Very fluid, it immediately penetrates the skin without leaving a greasy film. It is used in hair care products to deeply nourish and moisturize the hair fiber and regenerate thin hair.
Wakame Seaweed Extract: This extract is derived from Wakame seaweed, a species of brown algae native to Asia. Its high concentration in fucosterol gives it antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties while protecting the barrier function. It helps rebuild the skin’s hydrolipidic film (HLF) by promoting the synthesis of surface lipids (epidermal lipids and sebum), and contributes to repairing the skin barrier. It also improves water storage capabilities in the dermis, and boosts the cohesion of the horny layer to trap water in the deeper layers. Therefore the skin is perfectly protected from dehydration. It makes even the driest skin types more supple and comfortable.
Cotton Oil: Cotton oil is obtained from cotton seeds. Naturally rich in omega-6 and -9 fatty acids, it has emollient properties and limits cutaneous Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL). It thus contributes to maintaining the skin’s integrity. Its vitamin E content also produces an antioxidant effect to protect the skin from premature cutaneous aging.
Rice Bran Oil: This oil is obtained by cold pressing the thin film found between the grain and the pod that protects rice, known as bran. Its high levels of vitamin E, phytosterols and ferulic acid ensure very strong moisturizing and antioxidant action. This very light oil immediately penetrates the skin to deeply nourish it while reducing the sensation of cutaneous discomfort. Its high concentrations of phytosterols and essential fatty acids (omegas 3 and 6) help prevent skin aging by combating damage caused by free radicals (tobacco, pollution, etc.).
Rosemary oil extract: Rosemary is a small woody aromatic shrub, considered a plant with beneficial and curative properties since Ancient Times. Its oil extract is obtained from the prolonged maceration of rosemary leaves. It is recognized for its anti-free radical action, protecting the cells from oxidative stress, and its anti-oxidant action. It also has purifying properties. It is therefore suitable for the preparation of anti-aging and purifying treatments to protect the skin from daily attack.
